On November 23 and 24, 2024, Zarafah had the privilege of hosting an exceptional artistic event as part of the Dakar Biennale 2024.
Nestled in Popenguine, our guesthouse was transformed into a real space for meeting and creation, bringing together artists, art enthusiasts and the curious around a rich and immersive program.
Under the patronage of filmmaker and director Moussa Sène Absa, these two days were marked by exhibitions of works of art, variety artistic performances and inspiring exchanges, celebrating diversity and artistic excellence.
THE ART OF THE DAKAR BIENNALE IN THE HEART OF ZARAFAH
The 2024 Biennale was much more than a fleeting event in Zarafah; it left a lasting mark on the heart of our guesthouse. Most of the works you will discover in our spaces come from the talented artists and exhibitors who participated in this edition. Each painting, each sculpture and each piece of art tells a story, that of an encounter, an emotion or an artistic vision shared during this unique event.
